Hello 2015!

Happy New Year everyone!

I do have a review of the year to post but I have been soo busy since New Year that I've had no time! I go back to work tomorrow (sob) so hopefully I'll get it finished for the end of the week.

Anyway I like to document my new year's resolutions on this blog as I have done for the past few years. I've thought very carefully about what things I want to achieve this year and I tend to pick resolutions/actions that I know I will do!

1. Give blood more than once this year - I did give blood last year but only once. I say this to everyone but it really doesn't hurt! I just need to do this more often!

2. Ride a horse- Not really a resolution but it is something I want to do this year. It was on my list last year but I never got round to it so it MUST happen this year! I've never done it so I really want to haha!

3. Operation Get Skinny- I know everybody says they will be good and lose weight but I am very determined to truly do this. I have put so much weight on it's disgusting!

That is it. 2015 is a year of the unknown so I just need to take things as they come!

Christmas Day Festivities

Since I work in a school, Christmas fever starts very early on! Therefore I have been excited for Christmas for a very long time. The day finally came and oh my, it really is the quickest day of the year!

Here are some photos from Christmas Eve and Day.

Prosecco is always needed to celebrate!

It's now a tradition for my Mum, sister and myself to pose like this every Christmas eve. Do you see a resemblance?

We didn't want to leave my Dad out!

On Christmas Day my Mum has to wake us up or else we will sleep all day! No getting up at 6am with excitement in my house! We usually get woken about 8am which isn't too bad. We finally go and see if Santa has been (ho ho ho) and then we open our presents. We always have a bacon toastie afterwards and then it's a quick dash to get ready before my Grandad arrives!

A little selfie with my Grandad.

My Grandad loves a Christmas jumper!
My Grandad always comes over very early (10am!!) and we show our presents and have some mince pies or chocolate yule cake. He stays for a couple of hours and then he goes to my Auntie's for his dinner.

Next my Nana arrives with her little doggy Lucky. Unfortunately this year Lucky got soo excited with seeing so many people that she had a little accident on the carpet. My nana went crazy! Happy family times...!

I do love Christmas dinner but I forgot to take any photos this year. I was too interested in actually eating it because I was starving!! After we eat, we all sit round the telly watching the films and tv programs. My Nana usually leaves around 6 and then we get down to some family games. I was soo stressed this Christmas watching Eastenders!!!

For Christmas I was given a Disney jigsaw from my sister and that's what I spent Boxing Day doing! 1000 pieces. Took me 7 hours. I'm exhausted!

So there's my Christmas festivities! I might do what I got for Christmas post if I find the time!

Hope you all had a fab Christmas!

Christmas Holidays are here!

This term has been so hectic! Maybe, possibly the quickest 9 weeks ever!! Here's a few photos of the last few weeks!

- Cutest card ever from a pupil!! Need to work on our spelling though haha!

-I just love The Dome at Christmas! I've never actually been inside haha! But the outside is good enough for me!

- A girl in my class has a Mum who does henna. At our Christmas Market she was there and I decided to get it done! Look how cool it is?

- Our staff night out was in South Queensferry at the Three Bridges. The food was ok but the view was amazing!

-Look at my amazing Christmas bauble? haha! We made these in class. I love it!

- Flatmas came by with a flash. Possibly my favourite night of the year! Look at the 5 year difference?

-My class Christmas card based off of the John Lewis advert!

How are we in November already?!

-I went with Nikki and her Mum to see Dirty Dancing in Glasgow. It was actually a lot better than I expected. The theatre was full of horny older women though...

- Took Seb to the best ice cream shop in Fife (Divitos). He tasted Irn Bru ice cream for the first time. I think he liked it!

- How gorgeous is my Nana's dog Lucky? I love her!!!

-Another trip out! I went with my family to see Still Game at the Hydro! It was hilarious! Plus we had amazing seats!! My Grandad really enjoyed himself!

- I bought tickets for the Jersey Boys for my Mum's birthday. It was a great show! My Mum LOVED it!

- I carved Mike Wazowski into my pumpkin! It was hard work!

- Children's spelling mistakes can be unfortunate!!

- A perfect Saturday night!

A Little Trip to London

Here are some photos from my recent trip to London with my sister!

An airport selfie! Wearing my super cool anorak! The forecast said that it was going to be torrential rain so I bought my cool jacket. Did I see any rain in London? No.

We visited the Tower of London specifically to see the poppies. It really was a thought provoking experience. There were so many poppies and it really did put it into perspective of how many people actually died.

 ME at Buckingham Palace.

My favourite musical! It was my 3rd time seeing it and believe me, it gets better every time!

I've visited London many times but never ventured out here before! We went to the Camden Lock Market and then to the food market! The food market was AMAZING! So many different foods from around the world! We opted for Jamaican Jerk Chicken and then had some churros later!

My first Shake Shack! The chips were AMAZING! Whilst we were eating this in Covent Garden, a man was singing opera! It was a very strange experience.

On our last day we visited the Natural History Museum. You could easily spend a whole day in there! I enjoyed the dinosaur bit best!

I love a London trip!!

* All ready for the new school year!

* Seb's parents got me this adorable cushion for my birthday! They know I love dogs! Especially Dachshunds!!

* Lovely present from my new school. I love it there!!

* Cutest thing any class have done for me!!

* 5 years ago I met Seb. Crazy how time flies!!!

Seb's Graduation

On the 1st of July, Seb finally graduated from Edinburgh Uni! Woohoo!
Here are some snaps from the day.

I wish I had put my shoes on for this photo! Look at Seb in his kilt - he loved wearing it!

Before his graduation just outside McEwan Hall.

Seb and the 2 ladies in his life.

 Inside McEwan Hall.

After his graduation with his degree!

I love the graduation robes! They make you feel like you're at Hogwarts.

We went to Old College for some photos. Perfect location for photos!

 Seb and his parents.

 Snap happy!

My Dad watched it at home and was able to print screen the exact moment Seb was 'hit' with the hat.

And that is that. Our University time is now over. We are now BOTH adults. Scary scary scary!!
