My Year in Photos 2013

January- March 

I didn't particularly have much of a life for the first three months of 2013. All my attentions were focused on my final university school placement. I absolutely LOVED my placement and I think about them all a lot of the time. Those 3 months were SUPER quick!

April

In April, I completed my dissertation and officially finished university. Hallelujah! The day/night when we all handed in our dissertations was a day/night that I won't forget in a while. Drinking cocktails ALL day. SO MUCH FUN. I miss my uni girls. However, the last time we met up all we did was talk about our schools. I say we, I really mean them. I can't do teacher talk all the time. 

June

I went to London with my best friend Nikki. I love London so much and luckily I'm going in February next year so I don't have long to wait until my next visit!

I took Nikki to see Wicked. My sister took me the year previous and I was instantly hooked. You can get amazing seats for only £18. We were in the stalls row D. It said on our tickets that we had a restricted view. WE DID NOT. We missed 1 little dance sequence, so there is my handy tip!

I finally was able to see Les Miserables in the theatre. Oh my goodness, it was AMAZING. So good that I actually have tickets to see it again in February! This time, I'm taking my boyfriend. Can.Not.Wait.

Seb was very lucky and was given the opportunity to fire the Edinburgh Castle gun in salute for Prince Philip's birthday. I felt so proud watching him. This day is a very memorable day as well because I found out later on that I had passed my degree!!

July

My school was a bit different this year and we ended up having our Graduation Ball a couple of days before our actual Graduation. Our venue was the Balmoral Hotel which was very extravagant. I felt like a princess for the night. It was really special.

The sun was shining down on us as we graduated. Luckily it was just before the massive heatwave that we had! I was so nervous until I had walked up and realised that I hadn't fallen in front of everyone haha! It was such a special day. I really can't wait until Seb graduates this summer!

I finally left Primark after nearly 5 years. I was super sad but obviously I had to leave to do my proper adult job ha! It was emotional and a lot of the time I really do miss those guys. We really need a reunion.

August

I started my new job as a primary school teacher. Nikki baked me a cake for the big occasion! I can't believe I've been there for 5 months already! Holy banana!

October

Again, Nikki and myself thought we'd treat ourselves to a little holiday! I love Amsterdam. My parents are actually going in January because I've bigged it up so much. I hope they enjoy it!

So that has been my year in photos. I had so many events to chose from but I decided to pick the ones that were the most exciting and special. I think 2014 is going to be a massive year...but I'll talk more about that in my new years resolution post.

Holidays are here!!

December has to be the quickest month ever!! Christmas has seriously crept upon us!
School has been super SUPER busy. Rehearsing non stop from our nativity. I am so glad I'll never hear those songs again!

My highlight of this month so far was Flatmas! Every year since 2nd year of Uni, my old flatmates and I get together and celebrate Christmas. Andrew usually cooks it but he didn't want to this year (boo) so we decided to have an alternative meal and go to Khushis instead. Khushis is an Indian BYOB restaurant. It was such a good night. The food was AMAZING but so spicy! I had far too much to drink but it was a great night!

Seriously can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow!! We need a baby in my family now though...!

It's been a busy couple of weeks since my last update! You can imagine what school is like at the moment. Kids are as high as kites because Santa is coming very shortly!!

My photo diary really is just random pictures of the last month. I really didn't do much. I had tonsillitis TWICE though!! That has been my main highlight haha!

Only 2 more weeks left of school and then I can relax....until the next term starts!!
