Happy New Year

Happy New Years Eve guys!

I feel that a new year is a new slate. I know many people dispute this and moan about people for saying that a new year=a new me. Well I think it's a good idea!
I'm still undecided about my new years resolutions.

So far I have:

1. Lose Weight
Such a cliche but I do really need to start watching what I eat. I have absolutely no time to exercise. I'm constantly at uni, doing uni work or at my actual work. I start my placement on the 14th of January so that's the day I'm going to cut down on the sugary stuff!

2. Spend More Time with My Friends
I need to start going out more. I feel like I've become like a recluse in some ways or maybe I'm just growing up. I can't handle hangovers. I much prefer a pub these days to a club. It's hard to get all my friends together, especially in our last year of uni! We have so much work to do! BUT I WILL TRY!

3. Be Nicer
I am usually a nice person but lately I feel like I'm becoming more cynical and angry at the world. I'll try and not get so worked up about things!

I know I'll probably break these very early on but I may as well try!
I'm doing nothing for New Year's Eve. I always forget about it until it's too late. My friends are having a party in Edinburgh but I have no way of getting home the next day so I'm just staying at home.

Merry Christmas!

I know it's nearly a week late but Merry Christmas everyone. I thought I would copy everyone else and post some of my Christmas presents.
My main present this year is some driving lessons. I have never needed to drive before but now I feel it's extremely important that I do!! So hopefully I'm a quick learner....


1. 1000 piece DISNEY jigsaw

I absolutely love jigsaws, like LOVE THEM. When I tell people that, they are usually call me a geek but there is nothing so satisfying than finishing one! I decided to do this jigsaw on my first free day after Christmas and it took me a whole 5 hours to complete!! No joke but my brain was completely frazzled after doing it! Such a lovely jigsaw though! 

2. The Complete Series of One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill reminds me of being in high school. Every Monday night, me and my friend Nikki would watch the new episode on e4. I'll admit that it did become quite rubbish when Lucas and Peyton left and I did stop watching it when I went to University BUT I do want to see what happens in the end. Plus I LOVE IT.

 3. Mugs

I have an obsession with cups/mugs. I have a cupboard in my flat full of my mugs that no one is allowed to use incase they break them! I think these cups are super cute with their Cath Kidston vibe but without the expensive price tag (I believe they were from TESCO for £6). I can't wait to be sipping my tea from them!

4. Pointless Board Game

Pointless is my favourite quiz show on the telly. I am sad enough that even if I miss it live I will iPlayer it later. The board game is exactly the same as the show except you have to make the noises of the points haha. I think we've played this about 4 times since Christmas!!!

LOVE IT.
