PHOTO DIARY #13

Primary 1 drawings // The best breakfast ever // Cute tea shop in Falkirk // Amsterdam shenanigans // 4 years // Moulin Rouge // Made a friend // Autumn walks // The Lion King!

I've noticed now that I have a full time job, I hardly have any time to photograph my life. Maybe because I don't have a life at the moment haha!

1. Being a teacher is getting easier. I feel like I'm fitting in better but I still miss my old work buddies LOTS. It is very difficult to move from the top of one social ladder to the bottom of the next. I was supervisor in my shop and I had to speak to everyone so it's hard now that I hardly know anybody. I know things will get easier.

2. The best thing about working full time is I now have weekends off and I can do whatever I like! Being at Uni and working at the weekend meant I couldn't do anything! I love the freedom!

3. I visited my Uni friends one weekend in Falkirk. We went for tapas then stayed up until 3am chatting about life. The next day we went to the CUTEST tea shop ever (think it's called Jenny's teashop) and with every tea you ordered, they came with their own tea cosy. Mines was a haggis. Just so cute. LOVE IT.

4. I've already blogged about my Amsterdam adventures. Just look at the post below :)

5. So Seb and I have been officially dating for 4 years now. How time flies when you're having fun!! So crazy! Can't believe how old we are now haha! We went out for dinner and then went for some drinks!

6. My family, Seb, Nikki and myself went to see The Lion King last night. It was absolutely AMAZING. I can't even begin to describe how fantastic the costumes were. I loved the African music- it has a beautiful rhythm. The Lion King is one of the favourite Disney films and the musical did not disappoint.

Amsterdam: The City of Good Food and Cute Canals.

My first term at school was coming to an end so I thought I would celebrate by getting away from home and enjoying a new city. I love city breaks and although I've been to Amsterdam before, I really wanted to go again. So when my friend suggested it, I was really up for it!

We visited SO many places. Personal favourites were:
  • Anne Frank's House- very emotional and thought provoking.
  • Bols House- Smelling then tasting alcohol- my idea of fun!
  • Heinekein Brewery. So much to do- very entertaining.
If you go to Amsterdam, DO NOT VISIT THE ICE BAR. It was awful!!! Wish I'd read the reviews before we went!

The Royal Palace in Dam Square

Being a tourist LOL.

Posing next to one of the canals.

My friend Nikki is sitting in the 'd'. Some girl was doing cartwheels on top of this. CRAZY.

 Love the architecture.

Posing with the dutch Royal Family...

I love Madame Tussauds! Especially this one with ET!

Had to visit the Sex Museum!
