A little jaunt to Bath.

My boyfriend Seb lives in Bath and I thought I would spontaneously go down and visit him (booked it two days before!!) I live about 15 minutes away from Edinburgh Airport and Seb lives about 30 minutes from Bristol Airport so it is an easy trip to make!

LOOK AT THE BUTTERFLY!! I don't see many in Scotland!

I've been a couple of times and it is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! Seb doesn't see it like that since it is his hometown which is a real shame!

They sell the best hot dogs EVER!!

The weather was pretty good whilst I was down there- mostly sunny and pretty hot and humid! It rained a couple of times but hey, I'm from Scotland, I'm used to that!

The Royal Crescent- just stare at it's beauty!

On the first day, we just went into town and had some lunch. There was a farmer's market there so we bought some strawberries and headed towards The Royal Victoria Park (or if you're a local, Vicky Park). At the top of the park is The Royal Crescent which is just simply gorgeous! Seb's friend actually lives there NEXT to John Cleese (oh how the other half live!).

Hard to take couple photos when it's just the two of you.

At night, we headed to a pub and bought a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the birth of HRH Prince George of Cambridge. We looked a right pair drinking that whilst everyone was drinking pints of beer!!

 Strawberry Bellinis!

I never ever go out on a Friday night so it was a strange experience. Bath was absolutely mobbed!! When we left our first pub, it took us ages to actually get in to anywhere else because it was so busy! We finally settled for The Slug and Lettuce (think that's what it was called!) and they had 2 cocktails for 1 so I was happy!
Posing at The Royal Crescent at night.

The next day we decided to explore more of Bath but it was a bit rainy so we were limited to what we could do. We decided to go see Monster's University and it was SOOO good. I love Disney Pixar! Unfortunately somebody brought their baby into the cinema and it cried for a lot of the film. Grrr.

 Pulteney Bridge

In the above picture, in the film Les Miserables, Russell Crowes body (a dummy) was flung into that canal as Javert. Every time I watch the film, I always watch out for it!

I'm a sucker for some nice architecture

Seb at The Circus!

I seriously do recommend to everybody I know to go to Bath!! I'm lucky that Seb lives there so I can visit when I like but if he didn't I think I would be going anyway haha!

Maybe I should get a job with Bath Tourism!
