Happy 2014.

I seriously cannot believe that it is 2014. I think because I did SO much last year that it really did fly by so quickly! I don't want to put a downer on 2014 already but I don't think it can really compete with 2013 (see previous post). I accomplished so much and I'm not sure if I will have that many opportunities this year.

But anyway, enough of the negative attitude, I have several new years resolutions that I hope to fulfil.

1:  Pass my driving test
I have been learning to drive since September. I've had about 12 lessons and sometimes I can be amazing and the next week I will be complete rubbish! It's very frustrating! I passed my theory test the other day so I am ready to keep on doing my lessons and hopefully sit my test around about easter (fingers crossed).

2:  Donate Blood
Last year I gave blood for the first time. I can remember it like I was yesterday because I was so nervous. I really don't know why because it didn't hurt at all and I got a free biscuit out of it ha! Unfortunately I haven't had time to donate since then so I am aiming to do it before I go back to work. I would recommend it to everybody who can. You never know, you might be saving someones life.

3:  Operation Get Skinny
So cliche! However, I am super determined! I got an exercise bike for Christmas and I have written up my exercise regime and I've been to the shops and I've bought lots of healthy foods. Last year I lost about a stone (it fluctuates a lot..) so hopefully I can keep on going.

4:  Get a job
In my situation as a probationer teacher, we all get interviewed in March and depending on how well we do, we will get a permanent or temporary contract. I am not bothered what I get, as long as I definitely get a job. It's really petrifying.

5:  Ride a horse
Emm basically I've never been on a horse so I'd like to do it haha!

Fingers crossed that I can work hard enough to achieve all of these!
