You know when you think you have submitted a post but it's really been sitting in your drafts for about a month....well this is that post!
I am fast approaching the end of #100happydays - hallelujah!! It's getting harder and harder! I definitely think I'll be having an instagram break at the end of this!
1. The Easter Holidays began and with that came Mother's Day. The whole fam went to one of our favourite restaurants, Cafe Andaluz, on George Street in Edinburgh. Unfortunately for us, they had changed their menu and removed ALL of my favourite dishes. Gutted is an understatement!! However, we all still had a good time!
2. I went bowling with Seb and his flatmates. I never hit it of with his flatmates, partly because they made fun of where I'm from (snobs!) but Seb has said that they really want to make an effort. So I agreed to go bowling. I told everyone I was rubbish (which I am!! I always need bumpers!). Unfortunately they didn't have bumpers at this place so I had to go it alone and surprisingly I actually won!! A miracle!!! I am on better relations with his flatmates but they're just not my type of people.
3. I've already written a post about passing my driving test AND buying a car but I still had to include wee Ruby in my happy days. I am getting more confident at driving it but I still panic a lot. It's crazy but you really do learn to drive when you pass your test.
4. Our monthly girly catch up was at Khushi's which do amazing curries. We all had lots to talk about and had a great time. Last week in the local newspaper it said that Khushis has been shut due to an e-coli outbreak. Shocked and sad. Don't know if I can go back!
5. In our class at school our topic is minibeasts! Claire ordered in caterpillars that we will rehome (as seen in the photo) and eventually they will create their cocoon and turn into butterflies!! So exciting!
6. I had my teaching interview straight after the Easter Holidays - Think I'll write about this in it's own post!
7. MCBUSTED WERE AMAZING!! When they came on the stage, everyone just went CRAZY. I felt like I was 12 again!! I loved Busted and I love McFly so it was just fantastic to see them live AGAIN!!
8. Seb and I went to a bar in Edinburgh called Panda and Sons. It is a prohibition speak easy (LOL). From the outside it looks like a barber shop but downstairs you go through this bookcase and voila you are in a secret bar. Once you get in the bar, it's a little boring but the outside looks cool.
9. My sister and I went to see Swan Lake and the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh. I've seen ballet before but my sister hadn't so I took her to check it out. It was male swans this time and I genuinely enjoyed it. Although I thought the people who were hysterically sobbing at the end were a bit much haha!!
