Zakynthos: A Little Holiday in Tsilivi.

In February I decided that I had to book a holiday for the Summer Holidays. It has been 5 very long years since I've been on a beach holiday and I was desperately in need. Zakynthos (or Zante- it's Italian name) is one of my favourite Greek islands. I had been to Tsilivi twice as a child - think I was 12 and 13. I instantly loved it. It's a resort that hasn't lost it's Greek touch. I feel that some resorts have turned completely into tourist resorts and I didn't want that for my holiday.


So off we set. Our flight was at 11pm so we technically arrived there at 4am but if we add on the time difference it was really 6am!! We caught a little sleep then got down to some serious sunbathing, eating and drinking for the rest of the holiday.

I was really rubbish at taking photos on this holiday. Probably because I was in a bikini for most of it! We had a great time! I think Seb loved the food and loved drinking beer all the time! I can guarantee we will visit Greece again. I would love to go to Zakynthos again BUT they only do night flights from Glasgow and I was very sleep deprived on both flights and I don't think I could do it again. I wonder when the flights from Newcastle are...

I have serious holiday blues now :(
